Overview
The ALFA FFN Committee will be mentored and guided by the ALFA Industry Capacity Committee to deliver initiatives supporting the network throughout the year, including a flagship event in September 2027. In BeefEx years, this will take the form of the ALFA FFN Networking Function.
This is a unique opportunity for you to make a meaningful contribution and support ALFA's initiative to attract and grow young leaders in the Australian lot feeding industry.
Composition of the ALFA FFN Committee
The committee comprises 8 Members in total, including a Chair. In addition, there will be a representative from the previous FFN Committee.
Committee Members are passionate individuals aged 35 years and under.
Positions are available for people who are currently working in the lot feeding industry, either on a feedlot or for a related business, or are students studying an agricultural or related degree.
The role of the ALFA FFN Committee
Provide direct input into steering key decisions of the ALFA FFN.
Oversee the creative direction and subject matter of ALFA FFN activities.
Contribute to the planning, delivery and evaluation of these activities.
Assist with procuring sponsorship and communications promoting these activities.
Be an ambassador for Feedlot TECH, promoting and championing ALFA's e-learning platform.
Assist in attracting new network members, growing the ALFA FFN to 80 members in FY27/28.
Prepare for and attend monthly online Committee Meetings.
